Chicken
Store-bought chicken is severely manipulated from its original state. They are raised in crowded barns, with a steady diet of antibiotics.

Conversely, chickens from Echo Valley Ranch are free range or are pasture raised to approximately 5-7 lbs processed.

We raise our chickens out on pasture; they free range during the day, and roost in a portable coop for the night, protected from predators. We do supplement our chickens’ diets with GMO free, organically grown grain. Chicken on pasture consume about 30% of their diet as greens, passing on those health benefits in their meat.

Pastured Chicken Prices:

• halved pastured chicken: $5.25/ lb. (halves are approx. 2.5 – 4 lbs.)
• whole  pastured chicken: $5.00/ lb. (wholes are approx. 5-7 lbs.)

Note: We only raise these chickens during the grass season, so we notify our customers by email when they become available.
